Conversation Starters World is operated by YUL LLC, a company registered in Florida, USA. These terms explain how you can use our site, questions and free downloads. For questions about these terms or permission to use material, email cbdaniels@conversationstartersworld.com.

Using the questions and downloads

You are welcome to use our questions for conversations, dates, family time, private groups and lessons. For these uses, you may copy, print and adapt our own free question lists and PDFs, including for lessons you are paid to teach. You may share copies with the people taking part in your group or lesson, including through a private class space.

Please include the page address or a credit to Conversation Starters World when it is practical. You do not need to announce a credit each time you ask someone a question.

This permission does not cover selling our question lists or downloads, republishing them as a public collection, or packaging them into a competing website, app or product. Contact us first if you want to use our material in a product or public collection.

Material covered by this permission

The permission above applies to material we own. Third-party photographs, illustrations, quoted text and other credited material can have different rights. A separate license or purchase agreement applies where it is supplied with a product. Our name and logo must not be used to imply that we endorse your product or activity.

Facts, ideas and some short phrases are not protected by copyright. These terms do not claim exclusive rights to every individual question or restrict uses that the law allows, such as applicable quotation or fair-use rights.

Choosing material for your group

The site includes light conversation, trivia, personal questions and topics intended for adults. Choose questions that suit the people involved, and let people skip questions they do not want to answer. A question or activity on the site is not personal medical, legal or other professional advice.

We try to make the material useful and accurate, but trivia answers can contain mistakes or become dated. If you find an error, email us with the page address and the question or passage. Check details that matter to your plans before relying on them.

The site and its tools

Use the site lawfully. Do not try to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, bypass security controls or send malicious code.

Saved keeps your selections in the browser you use. Clearing browser data or changing browsers can remove or hide that list. Keep a separate copy of anything you need. We may correct, update or remove content and tools; access may be interrupted by faults or maintenance.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites where they are useful. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we do not control their content or services. If you buy something from another website, check that seller's terms, price, delivery and refund information.

Privacy and your legal rights

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is used and how to make a privacy request. These terms do not replace any consent needed for cookies or personal information.

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts continue to apply where the law permits.

Changes and contact
